narnia

[within the church's vicinity]

The Warrior of the light behaves like a child.

People are shocked; they have forgotten that a child needs to have fun and to play, to be slightly irreverent and to ask awkward, childish questions, to talk nonsense that not even he believes in.

And they say, horrified: "So this is the spiritual path, is it? He's so immature!"

The Warrior feels proud of such comments. And he remains in touch with God though his innocence and his joy, without ever losing sigh of his mission.

~Paulo Coelho

[natatandaan nyo pa ang lamp post sa narnia? ng nakita ko ang lamp post sabay may lolo na tumabi. di ko maalis sa isip na sya ung bata sa book one, na tumanda sa "lion, the witch, and... "]

It is sad to think about how contrasting virtues are. The Bible says, be a child and the Lord Jesus Christ will welcome you in heaven. And yet, in life, you have to face everything with the grace of an adult. So where will we put ourselves?

I guess standing on the crossroads requires more strength than we possess. It'll always end up to one thought: we will always need His guidance to win the fight and that the warrior is really a child. It'll and it should always stay that way.
